- After registering an account, you have one week to post an application. After that, if no application has been posted, your account will be deleted. If a staff member requests that changes be made to your application, you have three days to make those changes before your application is deleted.
- You must have at least 20 RP posts to get your next character. You'll need to make 20 with your second character to get to your third, and so on.
- You may have a maximum of four characters. (per IP address - if you have a sibling/roommate at this site, you both are limited to four characters between the two of you). Each character requires a separate account.
- OC (Original Characters) are allowed, but only as civilians. You may not create your own super-powered hero or villain, nor someone who will become a superhero/villain. There are hundreds of available characters in the DC universe, and since this is a DC RPG, it doesn't make sense to neglect those characters for made up ones.
- Every RP post must be a minimum of five sentences (a solid paragraph). We understand that some days you don't have the time or creativity to fill an entire paragraph and that's okay but if it's a persistent problem, you're risking losing your character.*
- You must get a signature and avatar. All signatures will be linked to your character's application. If you need either one of these, request a set here [TBA]. Maximum size for a signature is 500 x 150.
- No god-modding! This means in your post, you will not act for someone else's character or control their actions. The mention of unimportant/minuscule action is fine, but anything else is prohibited.*
- Activity* [based on RP posts only] After your application is accepted, you have two weeks to reach the minimum (eight). After that, you should have an average of ten by the end of every month.
If you lose your character due to a lack of activity, you have 7 days to complete a new application. If a new application is not completed within that time, the account will be deleted.
If you have announced your absence, you're excused. The Absence board is the only official place to announce you'll be gone. If you take an absence within the first two weeks you have a character, that character will not be saved for you. Only established characters are saved during absences (established = 10+)
* You'll get a warning but if it becomes a consistent problem, you'll lose your character.

* You will not get a warning if you are falling inactive or if [at your rate] you will not reach the minimum by the next activity check. It is your responsibility to be familiar with our activity rule and keep track of yourself.
